Outer Shoal

Early prototype of a 3D space RTS.

This is the first playable game loop: select ships, move through a 3D space battlefield, build from planets, fight enemy forces, and try to win control of the system.

It is still very unfinished, but I wanted to publish something real and improve it in public rather than endlessly polishing something I never release.

Current features:

- 3D space RTS camera and movement

- Ship selection, box select, and command controls

- Queued movement and attack orders

- Planet-based ship building

- Basic enemy AI

- Ship combat, damage, destruction, and projectile weapons

- Command feedback with move pings, voice confirmations, and nav lines

- Selection overlays with ship icons and health bars

- In-game pause/menu and controls panel

- Win/lose state

Expect rough edges, missing polish, placeholder assets, and things that may change a lot. This is the foundation, not the finished game.
